Scotland always feels magical to me.
It’s a place where history still feels present. When you walk through old city streets, look at the stone buildings, or stand in the middle of a Highland landscape, it feels like you’re surrounded by stories from long before you arrived.
I’m drawn to painting Scotland because of that feeling. The old architecture, grey skies, soft light and dramatic landscapes all have their own character, and I love capturing that atmosphere in paint.
